Do Hyun Kim, Esq. began his professional career with a broad perspective on global business. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and went on to receive his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Michigan State University College of Law, establishing a strong foundation in both legal theory and practical skills.

Mr. Kim is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., and is authorized to represent clients in all 50 states in matters related to U.S. federal immigration law. He has continuously supported major Korean companies in diverse sectors, including airlines, automotive parts, cosmetics, entertainment, and food & beverage, by ensuring that their executives, managers, and specialized personnel have been successfully deployed in the process of establishing and operating U.S. subsidiaries.

Through this work, he has gained extensive experience in staffing newly established U.S. branches and the phased deployment of specialized personnel. His current practice focuses on E-2 Employee and L-1 Intracompany Transferee visas, EB-1 Multinational Executive or Manager petitions, EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) cases, and O-1 and P-1 visas for individuals with extraordinary ability or achievement.

Outside of his immigration practice, Mr. Kim has also worked as a discovery attorney supporting high-profile international litigation matters of major law firms, including Akin Gump, Dentons, Gibson Dunn, Morrison Foerster, O'Melveny & Myers, and Sidley Austin. This experience sharpened his legal judgment and analytical skill, which he brings to every immigration case he handles.

Mr. Kim is also a former ROTC officer who served in a South Korean special forces unit, where he trained in airborne operations and high-intensity missions, building strong mental focus and resilience. Before moving to the U.S. to pursue his degrees, he worked as an export specialist, gaining hands-on insight into international trade and business. Outside of work, he enjoys running, swimming, and hiking with his family.
